My diverse skill set and continuous pursuit of new knowledge have shaped my versatile career, leading me to former role as the Director of New York Farming at 'We are the New Farmers,' an agtech startup based in Brooklyn that cultivates and sells Spirulina. The company has since gone bankrupt and I am looking for new opportunities.

As the farm director, I played a pivotal role in the cultivation and processing of Spirulina, a microalgae renowned for its health benefits. Over the course of my tenure, I assumed sole responsibility for the entire farm operation. Everything from propigation, cultvation and harvesting to maintenance, health checks, and meticulous record-keeping was solely my responsibility after a year. Working for a startup came with many challenges. I had very limited spending power, very difficult hours and often had to improvise. one of my strengths. I thrived on finding cost-effective solutions to enhance yield, health and other important aspects of the farm. My commitment to continuous improvement and sustainability has not only strengthened the operational efficiency of the farm but has made me realize I want to keep doing this!
